Join Us For An Entertaining Family Christmas Afternoon Show, 'Rapunzel' Full Of Laughs & With Dinner Included!
At The Historical 1930's Capitol Theatre, Arts Centre, Port Hope, Ontario.
A twisted take on the story of some very very long hair.
Rapunzel is bored and lonely, with her lengthy braid as her only potential for escape. When a dim-witted prince accidentally discovers her plight, it sets in motion a string of events that will unravel the original story in surprising and wonderful way. In this wildly funny reimagining of the traditional tale, Rapunzel comes to discover the power within—all set to a score of popular songs and beloved panto traditions.
Written by Second City Creative Director Carly Heffernan, this world premiere panto will take our celebrated holiday tradition to new heights! Afterwards we will have a nice dinner at a nearby bistro which is included with many pre-order meal options available to choose from. Then return to Oshawa by 8pm.
We will begin local pickups in Durham Region at approximately 10-11am depending on your location, we will advise of the nearest place for you to be picked up & or where to park and be picked up conveniently. If you need local transportation to our pick up place, that can be arranged also roundtrip.
All ages are welcome & this is a great Christmas gift for someone who enjoys live entertainment & or has everything & needs nothing but an enjoyable day out with a friend or family member! There will be time to browse the local boutique shops before the show time at 2pm commences.
