Bundle up for an evening stroll through this picture-perfect postcard historic town setting. We will be doing a drive through also for those who don't want to walk to much. Over one million lights illuminate Upper Canada Village, creating a one-of-a-kind magical backdrop, a true winter wonderland! Visit Saint Nick’s Winter Workshop to share your holiday wishes and snap a festive photo! Warm up and take a break at Christ Church for heartwarming carols that capture the spirit of the holidays. Explore wide selection of timeless gifts and artisan made products for unique holiday shopping at the Village Store after your Alight at Night experience. Hop on life-sized, colourfully lit toy train for a 15-20 minute magical ride, with a stop for photo opportunities, perfect for the whole family. Located adjacent to the Village parking lot and subject to availability. Be enchanted by the Sound and Light Show at Crysler Hall, a true winter spectacle where hundreds of colourful lights will flash to the beat of holiday tunes throughout the evening. Enjoy Alite-Brite’s giant nostalgic glow, snap photos with Snowy Silhouettes and gingerbread figures, or cozy up on the Mistletoe Loveseat! At the Frosty Fun Zone, sip hot drinks, play holiday games, decorate ornaments, and get creative on the Chilly Chalkboard. Stop by Blitzen’s Barn for cozy story time moments by the fireplace where St. Nick’s Elf will enchant you with festive tales. Indulge in delicious holiday classics at Willard’s Hotel, Harvest Barn, Beaver Tails, Village Café, and our snack hut, a true treat for your taste buds! We will have an early dinner when we arrive at Harvest Barn that is included.
We will begin local pickups in Durham Region at approximately 10-11am depending on your location, we will advise of the nearest place for you to be picked up & or where to park and be picked up conveniently. If you need local transportation to our pick up place, that can be arranged also roundtrip.
All ages are welcome & this is a great Christmas gift for someone who enjoys live entertainment & or has everything & needs nothing but an enjoyable day out with a friend or family member! There will be time to browse the local boutique shops. We will depart for home at 830pm to arrive back by 12 midnight.
